Hurricane Matthew Response
We partnered with Hope For Haiti on a large-scale project to implement a clean water program in targeted communities in Southwest Haiti devastated by Hurricane Matthew.
In addition to W4W's Haiti Country Director Fritz G Pierre-Louis, our local W4W team consisted of 5-7 ground troops to help assist the effort. Dr. Mady Slater, our Public Health Director, was in-country to train and prep the team on health, hygiene, sanitation teaching and assessment, monitoring and evaluation practices. Our team was in-country for two months overseeing the program and implementing 1875 systems in five communities in Southwest Haiti.
