Waves For Water Philippines is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean water access to remote, underserved, and disaster-affected communities across the country. Our work began in 2013 in response to Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), one of the most devastating disasters in Philippine history, where over 4.3 million Filipinos were displaced and affected by the storm. What started as an emergency humanitarian response grew into a long-term commitment to ensuring that every Filipino has access to safe and clean water.

Formally established as a registered non-stock, non-profit organization in 2015, Waves For Water Philippines has since worked alongside communities in 82 provinces, positively impacting more than 2,000,000 Filipinos. To date, we have implemented 34,502 water filters, constructed 163 rainwater catchment systems, and installed 1,394 stand-alone handwashing stations in partnership with local communities, individual donors, corporate partners, government agencies, and grassroots organizations.

Guided by the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, we believe that access to clean water is a shared responsibility. Waves For Water Philippines is a certified donee institution accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). We operate under the authority of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through Permit No. DSWD-SB-PSP-S-2026-000120.
