Program Overview
Waves For Water Philippines’ Help the Helpers Campaign is for the benefit of non-medical frontliners—farmers, fishermen, market vendors, maintenance and sanitation personnel, and other key workers from underserved communities throughout the Philippines.
With clean water and good hygiene still remaining to be the primary mode of prevention for COVID-19, the goal is to help provide three basic needs—clean water systems + jerry cans for storage, hygiene kits, and food packs. A water bill subsidy initiative has also been added to allow families to allocate limited resources into buying the basic needs such as food and medicine.
The initial fundraising goal is to support 150 families across selected 20 provinces based on number of COVID-19 cases, poverty incidence, population density and presence of W4W communities.

The funds raised through this program will go directly towards the implementation of water filtration systems, the construction or repair of bore-hole wells, and/or rainwater harvesting systems.
