Work in Peru along the Dakar rally
Led by our Peruvian Country Director, Gabriel Villaran, we focused on the rural and isolated locations along rally stages 1-4. Focusing on schools and individual families, the W4W Dakar Project provided water filtration systems and training to local leaders in Pisco, Marcona, and Arequipa.
Access to clean water improves personal and civic well-being, increases overall health, reduces poverty and increases opportunities for education.

The purchase of each t-shirt went toward Free People’s donation of $50,000 to W4W. The campaign was shot around “Free People Girl”, ambassador Quincy Davis, during two W4W implementations in Puerto Rico, during the Caribbean Hurricane Relief Initiative.View Initiative
