This is the fundraiser page for my charity spin event, detailed below.

Come out to spin, sweat and raise money for Caribbean hurricane relief!

Recently, the entire Caribbean was recently devastated by hurricane after hurricane. The damage is unfathomable and these communities that needed our help before, need our help even more now.

As most of you know, my mom was born and raised in St. Croix, an island within the U.S. Virgin Islands. St. Croix is a second home to our family. We feel the destruction personally, but we can rebuild and don't live there full time. Others need water, food, generators, and the list goes on just to sustain a level of decency.

Waves for Water is a charity that helps bring clean water to remote and disaster areas across the globe. They have a specific fund for Caribbean relief, which will be the beneficiary for this event. So far they've done work in St. Croix and Puerto Rico post-Maria.

Turnstyle is hosting the charity event in their South End studio. The event will include a 45-minute spin class and a raffle for some spin class packages donated by Turnstyle. The cost of the class will be $40 per person, which includes your donation. If you want to contribute more, I have set up a personal fundraiser with Waves for Water (this page!) you can donate to and that's where I'll be putting all the proceeds from the event.

Even if you've never done a spin class before, please don't be shy, I'd love to see you there. This is about supporting a community that needs help and having a little fun at the same time. If you can't make the class, please consider donating to the fundraiser. And if not this one, then consider many others that are helping those in need!
