Support a Fundraiser

I will be surfing in the Red Bull Foam Wreckers Atlantic City at Crystal Beach this upcoming Saturday. To make it fun, I'm organizing this fundraiser as a way for surfers to give back. Clean water infrastructure is a process that cost millions of dollars. Many countries around the globe do not have access to such funding leaving many people with unpotable water in their communities. As surfers living in America, we are privileged to have access to clean treated water. Atlantic City, where the Red Bull Foam Wreckers event is taking place on August 14th 2021, is home to one of the nations largest wastewater facilities that operates 40 MGD powered by renewable energy. Let's help our neighboring nations build the same, so that all may have the basic human right to clean drinking water. Waves for Water is a great organization that helps supply water filters, storm water collectors, and build/repair borehole wells. I have partnered with them back in 2015 , to supply water filters to locals in Nicaragua. I have seen the impact that one water filter can have on a family. It's not a long term solution, but it helps more than these people could ask. A little can go a long way. I thank you for your generosity. As Ben Gravy would say, "For the Dream."
