Support a Courier

We will be traveling to Nicaragua in November for surf/Bachelor Party/charity trip. We will be participating as “Clean Water Couriers” (CWC’s) through a Non-Profit Organization called Waves for Water. The idea behind the CWC service is that most surf destinations are also in very remote and impoverished areas, so surfers act as the couriers to bring water filters into these regions where access to clean water is limited or nonexistent.

We are hoping to raise $1,750 which would allow us to bring 35 filters into the region. We are paying all travel and living expenses out of pocket. 100% of donations will go directly to the Waves for Water organization to pay for the filters.

These filters have a lifetime of one million gallons and can potentially affect 100 people each. All of the money will go directly to purchasing the filters. If we exceed our fundraising goal, we will either bring more filters, or donate the excess funding to the overall mission of Waves for Water.
